Sail Training Ireland has a strong relationship with the Irish Naval Service. The current Irish Naval Service Commodore, Commodore Michael Malone, is a member of our Board of Directors as is his predecessor, Commodore Hugh Tully. Many of our trainees who participate in Sail Training Ireland’s voyages may be interested in pursuing a career in the Irish Naval Service.
The Naval Service offers an exciting, challenging, dynamic and rewarding career, exposing young people with numerous opportunities for personal development and work advancement.
