Facebook Fundraisers for Sail Training Ireland
Anybody can help the charity by hosting a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser.
You may be aware that you can raise money for charities on Facebook in several different ways. One of these is to have a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser where you ask your friends to donate to your favourite charity for your birthday.
We are asking former trainees, families and supporters to help us by considering holding a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser in aid of Sail Training Ireland. It is very simple to set up, allows people to donate easily and securely and all the funds donated go directly to the charity.
We have provided a six-step guide here showing how to do it.
If you do decide to start a Facebook Fundraiser for us, please let us know by emailing us at info@sailtrainingireland.com. Facebook don’t automatically notify us when a fundraiser starts and we would like to express our appreciation to those that help us. Also, Facebook won’t tell us who donated to your fundraiser, so please do thank them on our behalf.
