Yeaaaah! This is our first Blog posting of what will be a regular update of what is going on here in Sail Training Ireland and beyond.

The 2019 Sail Training season kicked off last week with six day sails taking place on Dublin Bay aboard the “Brian Boru”. Our day-sails are aimed at giving people a taste of what a Sail Training Voyage is like in the hope that they come back for a longer voyage in the future.

We are looking forward to a really exciting season this year. Our voyages kick off next week with the first of three TY / Gaisce Voyages.

The year highlights will be:

• The Asgard Armada Voyage
• The Three Cities – supported by Erasmus+
• The second NEIC voyages
• The Second Deaf & Hearing Impaired Voyage
• The First Arklow Bursary voyages
• The regional Bursary voyages in Cork, Dublin, Drogheda, Waterford , Belfast and Derry.
